Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Sports IoT LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website sports-iot.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We've kept it short and accurate.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information from you only when you choose to submit our contact form. The fields we collect are:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your organization (optional)
  • The inquiry type you select
  • The message you write

We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any other personal information to use the Site.

Automatically collected information

When you load any page on the Site, our hosting infrastructure (Hetzner Online GmbH, located in the European Union) and our content-delivery layer (Caddy web server) record standard HTTP request information: your IP address, the time of the request, the URL requested, and your browser's user-agent string. These records are kept in server logs solely for security and operational purposes and are typically purged within 30 days.

We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or marketing tracking tools. The Site does not set tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and disclose what is collected.

Anti-bot protection

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish humans from bots. Cloudflare may set short-lived cookies and process limited browser metadata (such as your IP address and user-agent string) to perform this check. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit through the contact form to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Route the inquiry internally (e.g., investor inquiries to the appropriate person)
  • Keep a record of correspondence for follow-up

We do not use your information for marketing emails, newsletters, advertising, or any purpose other than responding to your inquiry unless you explicitly request otherwise.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share your contact form submission with the following service providers, solely for the purpose of delivering and storing the inquiry:

  • Resend, Inc. (United States) — delivers outbound contact form submissions to our internal team mailbox. See Resend's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — provides anti-bot protection for the contact form via Turnstile. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party other than the operational service providers listed above.

If we are legally required to disclose your information (e.g., by subpoena or court order), we will do so only to the extent required and will notify you when permitted to.

4. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, typically up to two years. After that, messages may be archived or deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see “Your Rights” below).

Server access logs are typically purged within 30 days.

5. International Data Transfers

Our hosting infrastructure is located in the European Union (Finland). Our email delivery provider (Resend) operates in the United States. If you submit information from outside these regions, your data may be transferred to and processed in either location. Where applicable, transfers from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms maintained by the receiving processor.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information (request that we remove your contact form submission and any follow-up correspondence)
  • Object to certain uses or processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise these rights, email info@sports-iot.com with a brief description of your request. We will respond within 30 days.

European Economic Area / United Kingdom residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected about you (as listed in Section 1), the right to delete that information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Our hosting infrastructure is access-controlled. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot warrant the security of any information you transmit.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please email info@sports-iot.com and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will note the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. Significant changes may also be announced elsewhere on the Site.
