About Sports IoT

The technology company pioneering connected sports memorabilia.

Our Story

Sports IoT LLC was born from a simple observation: sports memorabilia has barely changed in decades. Bobbleheads sit on shelves. Pennants hang on walls. Collectibles gather dust between game days.

We asked: what if your memorabilia could feel the game with you? What if your bobblehead celebrated when your team scored a touchdown? What if your collectibles lit up, moved, and reacted to live game events in real time?

The question wasn't abstract for us. As Aggies at Utah State University, we watched the A on top of Old Main's tower light up after every Aggie win — any game or competition, any team — a campus-wide signal you could see from anywhere on the hill, that said “we won” before the news reached you. We wanted to bring that exact feeling — the unmistakable, can't-miss-it celebration of a victory you care about — off the building and into homes, dorm rooms, and offices.

Our first attempt to do that was a successful 2019 Kickstarter campaign — Lighting the A, a hand-built prototype: 3D-printed Block A devices, hand-assembled electronics on a breadboard, hours of manual work per unit. The campaign funded, the first run shipped to backers, and that early prototype proved the idea worked. Everything since — the patents, the manufactured devices, the cloud platform — has been built around what we learned from that first run.

That question led to the creation of Sports IoT LLC and our consumer brand, FanSync. We built a proprietary IoT platform that bridges the gap between live sports data and physical, internet-connected objects — creating the entirely new category of connected sports memorabilia.

Today, with two awarded U.S. patents and a growing product line, we're bringing the future of fan engagement from concept to reality — starting with college sports and expanding across professional leagues nationwide.

Our Mission

“To transform passive sports memorabilia into interactive, connected experiences that bring fans closer to the games they love — powered by technology that's as innovative as the moments it celebrates.”
